Dr. Karl Kutch

Dr. Karl Kutch, founder and president of
Mesquite Eye Associate, has been providing
advanced eye care for seniors in Mesquite
and East Texas for over 20 years. Dr. Kutch
began his patient care career in a surgical group practice specializing in cataracts and retinal disease. His interest and experience in treating ocular pathology has won him the Mesquite News "Best Optometrist" award many times over. He has also been recognized in "Who's Who in the South and Southwest". Dr. Kutch enjoys giving back to the Mesquite community and has served as a member of Mesquite Host Lions Club for 12 years, in addition to serving as Director for the Lions Sight and Tissue Board. providing eyecare for indigent children of Mesquite. He has served as Director for the Dallas/Ft. Worth Optometric Society, Treasurer for the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Mesquite Airport Board, and Chairman of the Mesquite Planning and Zoning Commission.

Dr. Kutch is also a devoted father of two children, Kelly and Kevin, and husband to Dr. Denise Kutch, who acts as Assistant Superintendent of Mesquite ISD. Dr. Kutch is involved with Mesquite Softball and Baseball and his hobbies include fishing, hunting, and coaching baseball.
